Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen
Leaving Tangier, you drive south through the green Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, Morocco's famous blue city. Spend the afternoon wandering its cobalt-blue alleys and photogenic squares, and climb to the Spanish Mosque for beautiful sunset views over the medina.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
This morning you travel to the remarkably preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the imperial city of Meknes with its monumental Bab Mansour gate, before continuing to Fes for the night.
Day 3: Fes city tour
A local guide leads you through Fes el-Bali, the world's largest car-free medina, past the famous Chouara tanneries, medieval madrasas and bustling artisan souks — the perfect finale to your northern Morocco tour.
