Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes
Leaving Rabat, you visit the imperial city of Meknes with its monumental gates and the remarkably preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You then continue to Fes, arriving in the evening in Morocco's spiritual capital.
Day 2: Fes city tour → Chefchaouen
A guided morning tour leads you through the world's largest car-free medina, past the famous Chouara tanneries and medieval madrasas of Fes. In the afternoon you drive through the green Rif Mountains to the enchanting blue-washed town of Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Rabat
Explore the cobalt-blue alleys, flower-filled squares and photogenic staircases of Chefchaouen at your own pace, then begin the scenic return drive to Rabat.
