Overview
A 2-day private tour from Rabat through Morocco's northern imperial cities — Meknes, the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the medieval medina of Fes — ideal for travellers who want a rich taste of Moroccan history in a short trip.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes
Your private tour leaves Rabat and heads to the imperial city of Meknes, with its monumental Bab Mansour gate and the vast Heri es-Souani granaries of Sultan Moulay Ismail. You then explore the remarkably preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing to Fes to spend the evening in Morocco's spiritual capital.
Day 2: Fes city tour → Rabat
A local guide leads you deep into the Fes el-Bali medina — the world's largest car-free old town — past the famous Chouara tanneries, the medieval madrasas and the bustling artisan souks. In the afternoon you begin the scenic drive back to Rabat, arriving in the early evening.
