Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Agadir → Marrakech
Your comprehensive grand tour begins with the drive from Agadir to Marrakech, where the famous Jemaa el-Fna square welcomes you with its storytellers, musicians and sizzling food stalls.
Day 2: Marrakech city tour
A full day exploring the Red City — the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Majorelle Garden and the endless colourful souks of the medina.
Day 3: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate
Crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, you reach the UNESCO World Heritage kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and the film capital of Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
You follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and the Valley of the Roses to the spectacular Dades gorges, with their twisting switchback roads and red rock formations.
Day 5: Dades → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
After exploring the towering Todra Gorge, you reach Merzouga for a sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes and an unforgettable night in a Sahara desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga → Erfoud → Midelt → Fes
Waking to the desert sunrise, you travel north through Erfoud, Midelt and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas to the imperial city of Fes.
Day 7: Fes city tour
A full guided tour of Fes reveals the world's largest car-free medina, the famous Chouara tanneries, historic madrasas and the spiritual heart of Morocco.
Day 8: Fes → Chefchaouen
Today you journey through the green hills of the Rif Mountains to the enchanting blue-washed town of Chefchaouen, one of the most photogenic places in Morocco.
Day 9: Chefchaouen → Rabat → Casablanca
Heading to the Atlantic coast, you visit the capital Rabat and its historic monuments, then continue to Casablanca to admire the magnificent Hassan II Mosque.
Day 10: Casablanca → Marrakech / Agadir
A final drive south returns you to Marrakech or Agadir, completing your grand tour of Morocco.
